Michelle winery directly across the street. The entrance and overall grounds are less impressive than its wine, especially compared to the grand Chateau Ste. ![]() Of course, the wine is stellar and that's what draws people from near and far to smell and taste some of the best wine around. The staff is friendly, courteous, professional and all smiles. The food is excellent as one should expect. Popular tourist site is also a nice special event venue for weddings, corporate functions, large catered private parties, etc. The world famous Columbia Winery is situated in the heart of local wine country in Woodinville, WA. Make sure to book your reservation time!! Due to the pandemic, they like all the other tasting room have moved to a reservation only. The hostess to so kind and was able to fit us with one of the smaller tables inside. On Sat, Mar 21 it was a great sunny day so on a spur of the moment, we decided to stop by and sadly we did not have reservations. Great team of people working at this tasting room! Its family own and run with extended staff that are friendly and always willing to help out. They are pet and family friendly which is a huge plus for us! They have sizeable interior, private reserve able event space, and extremely room exterior. In Woodinville, this is one of the few handful of tasting room that quite large. Also like most winery/tasting room, if you purchase a bottle ($35+) they will waive ONE tasting for free. Most winery/tasting room will have 1-2 different tasting options but Novelty Hill-Januik has usually around 3-4 different options. There was a good char on the crust and there was an evenly spread of topping so each bit had a little bit of everything. During this visit, we had the "Spring Onion & Burrata" brick oven pizza and it was amazing! The size was roughly 12" so its a good pizza for 1-2 person. It is a limited menu but what they provide is really good. On property kitchen that makes their own food. This was our 4th visit and will not be our last! :) I will definitely be making the trip back to be there for an upcoming flight day! Thanks again to Rick for the outstanding tour!! ![]() I got to learn a lot about the back stories of the aircraft, as well as the people associated with them. His passion for the history of both the aircraft and the museum made for a very special day. The highlights of my visit were the stories behind some of the aircraft and the associated people, as shared by Rick. I was surprised at some of the artifacts that were on display, but you should just see for yourself! The theater, and interactive history of war (touch screens, audio-visual presentations, etc) is amazingly well done, and the pictorial timelines meticulously laid out on the walls are visually stimulating and educational. Boy, was I wrong! They actually have more ground vehicles than aircraft now (mostly tanks), but this takes nothing from the aviation and historical information. I was expecting a couple of hangers with a few restored war birds.
